IMPORTANT REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Whoever is completing the Community Pass registration form, please have them be prepared with ALL the information needed below for your registration to be finalized.
The information is critical.

Please note some specifics that will be needed upfront, so you are prepared when the form is submitted.
Incomplete/incorrect/missing information on Non-Parent Emergency Contact names, addresses, phones, medical information, etc. (as per below) will hold up your child being processed.

When REGISTRATION opens, please go to Community Pass to your account.
If you do not have an account, you can set one up.
When in your account, go to Register – Skiing.
Seats are limited.

There are TWO fees and TWO forms that need to be completed with BOTH fees needing to be paid to hold your child’s program placement.
One will not be accepted without the other.
1. There is the Community Pass registration form and fee.
2. Upon completion of the Community Pass form, on the bottom of your receipt, will be a specific Chatham link/code to go to Shawnee’s site to pay for your Ski/Snowboard Lift package.
The Shawnee form needs to be completed WITHIN 24 hours of your Community Pass form to complete your child’s registration. (See packages below).

When our limit (2 buses) is met, participant registrations will automatically be generated to a Wait List.
If your child ends up on the Wait List – Please do NOT complete the Shawnee form.

It is critical, when taking children out of town, that all of the registration information is completed.
Forms will be held if the required information is not noted correctly, as per some specifics below:

Please note:
TWO LOCAL
ADULT Non-Parent Emergency Contacts (Chatham, Madison, Summit, New Providence, Florham Park, Millburn).

If they are beyond this area your form will be held.

ADULT Non-Parent Emergency Contacts is an ADULT (NOT THE PARENTS) that agrees to be your emergency “backup” contact if we cannot reach you first.
The parent will be tried first. Before you randomly enter someone, please check with that person that they agree to take this responsibility if you can’t be reached.
They MUST be able/willing to drive in the event they are needed to go to Shawnee, a hospital or for a pickup at the bus.
We can’t have surprises if we need them and they are unaware they were listed or needed to drive to Shawnee, etc.

Please be sure ALL the Emergency Contact information requested (the Emergency Contacts name, relationship, address, and phone) is entered on the form.
If not, your form will be held.

Medical info – If your child has a specific illness/allergy/takes/needs a specific medication please note what it’s for so we have that information while on the bus or at Shawnee.

Bus Chaperones – We MUST have some consistent chaperones that will go on EVERY trip.
Scheduled chaperones will not have to pay the bus fee.
Consistency is very important for the participants, knowledge of our/Shawnee guidelines and understanding the weekly routine on the bus and at the slopes.
Chaperones can ski if they choose.

Driver Chaperones – Each week we MUST have 2 Adults that will follow the bus up and back.
The Driver Chaperone would need to drive alone – they cannot take their child up and back nor any friends/siblings/family members.
The Driver, if needed for a child transported to the hospital, would follow an ambulance to the hospital and stay with the child until a parent arrives.

The Driver Chaperone would NOT transport any child with or without an injury/illness to the hospital or home.

AFTER THE COMMUNITY PASS FORM IS COMPLETED THE SHAWNEE FORM MUST BE COMPLETED:
On the bottom of the paid Community Pass receipt, will be the Chatham link/code for Shawnee’s site.

Some families who are not registered will choose to bring their child/child’s friends up to the slope and meet the group.
They would not be part of the program, not come and go on the bus nor would we be processing any of their forms or fees.
They can meet and ski with our group.
A parent would need to remain with these unregistered children and accept responsibility for the child/children.
We would not be taking that responsibility while they are at the slopes nor can they ride on the bus.
